Glasses boxes and a display for Aptica
Six reading-glasses collections, each with its own packaging and a display to present them together. Aptica was looking for a full-service print partner with an eye for quality, one that could produce the glasses boxes, the stickers, the collection cards and the graphic components of the counter display. We were in straight away.
The display puts the collections in the spotlight
The counter display shows three of Aptica’s six collections at a time. We produced the printed backing cards in 3 mm Forex, the front card and the backing of the display in silver mirror acrylic. The six cards can easily be swapped depending on which collections are in the spotlight. We also took care of fine-tuning one of the packaging designs. We are always happy to dot the i’s and cross the t’s.
36 boxes, one recognisable style
Six designs, each worked out in six versions: 36 layouts in total and 6,660 glasses boxes. The boxes were printed on 350 gsm two-sided sulphate board, in full colour inside and out, finished with a matt lamination and then die-cut to size. Good to look at, sturdy in use.
Small stickers, clear message
The details got their share of attention too. We designed seven versions of dioptre stickers that indicate the right reading strength on each box. We also produced the artwork for the stickers covering blue-light filter technology and try-on communication. Small in format, important for a clear product presentation.
Print that looks further
Packaging, display material, stickers, a wide range of materials and finishes: a project this varied involves a great deal. As a print partner, though, we always think alongside the client, align the individual components and safeguard quality from artwork through to production and finishing. Small run or large, simple or complex: in Jacobs Printing, Aptica found one partner for the whole picture.
